While Simplifi automatically categorizes most transactions for you, there may be times you need to recategorize a transaction. For example, you may make multiple trips each month to your favorite supermarket for groceries. Simplifi should know to categorize these transactions under Groceries automatically; however, if you go to the same supermarket for a home improvement project or school supplies, the category automatically assigned based on past transactions (Groceries) will be incorrect for this transaction.


1. Click the Menu icon (the three lines in the upper left corner).
2. Select All Transactions.
3. Click the transaction to open the View Transaction window.
4. Click the Category field and scroll through the Category List or use the search bar to locate the correct Category.
5. Click Save in the upper right corner.
