By design, Simplifi considers a credit card payment to be neither an income nor an expense transaction. Instead, Simplifi treats it as a transfer transaction since you're moving funds from one account to another and excludes them from Spending Plan. However, you can opt to include a credit card payment transaction in your Spending Plan by manually adjusting the Transaction Details settings.

To include your credit card payment transactions in the Reports or Spending Plan, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the left side panel and click Transactions.

  2. Click your desired account from the Account List.

  3. Locate the transaction you'd like to include and click the drop-down arrow to the right of the Amount field.

  4. You can include it in the Reports and Spending Plan by placing a checkmark in the corresponding checkboxes.

  5. Click Close – the changes will save automatically.
