When creating a new Recurring Bill, you may have noticed that you have the option of making it a 'Bill' or a 'Subscription'. While we've created this distinction solely for the discretion of our users, we do have some suggestions on how these options can be used!

We recommend using Bill for items such as your phone bill, utility bills, mortgage or rent payment, etc.; whereas Subscription is a great option for items that don't incur a late fee if not paid on time, such as streaming services, Amazon Prime, magazine or audiobook subscriptions, memberships, etc.

If you have a 'Bill' that you'd like to make a 'Subscription', or vice versa, you can easily make this change by editing the Recurring Series under All Recurring in the Settings menu. Once in the Edit series window, you'll see a section called Type of transaction; this is where you can make the change between 'Bill' and 'Subscription', and then click Update once done.

Note: For more details on editing a Recurring Series, please see our Support Article here!
