Resolving Outstanding Items
At the start of a new month, Simplifi will automatically alert you of any unresolved items from the prior month, such as Recurring Bills or Subscriptions that have not been linked to transactions, expected Income that hasn't been received, or Planned Spending expenses with money left over.
For past due Recurring Reminders, while we've worked hard to ensure that Simplifi links transactions properly, there may be times when you'll need to manually link a downloaded transaction to the Reminder. There may also be times when you didn't have a bill or other recurring payment happen and no longer need the Reminder for it. You can resolve this by either manually linking the Reminder to the transaction, or you can delete the Reminder if it's not needed.
For Planned Spending, sometimes you don't spend all of the money you thought you'd spend in a particular area, and that's great! However, you also want to mark that money you had planned to spend as available so you can either save it or use it for other things. You can resolve this by releasing the remaining funds back to your available to spend funds.
