Overview

Are you looking to import historical account balances into Quicken Simplifi for net worth tracking? Well, look no further! You can now import your account balances into Quicken Simplifi to track them in the Net Worth Report.

Note: At this time, account balance history cannot be imported via the Quicken Simplifi Mobile App; instead, you'll want to use the Web App for this.

Things To Note

  • At this time, you can only import your account balance history into one account at a time.

  • Importing account balances for historical purposes will not override existing transactions or account balances; these will only impact the Net Worth Report.

  • You must select the Mint option if you're importing from Mint specifically.

  • When importing from Mint, do not alter the downloaded file before importing it into Quicken Simplifi.

  • If you're creating your own CSV file, you must ensure that your spreadsheet uses the exact same column headers we've provided and that your dates and amounts are formatted exactly like the examples.

    • The date should be formatted as M/D/YY (i.e., 1/1/22).

    • The amount fields should not include dollar signs or commas.

    • All fields should be filled in; empty fields can lead to issues.

    • You'll want to be sure that negative amounts have a negative sign in front of the number or they'll import as positive amounts.

  • We recommend downloading and using our CSV template to avoid any issues with importing.
